Abstract

This research is based on children's fine motor skills which have not yet developed optimally. The formulation of the problem of this research is whether painting activities using splash techniques are effective in improving the fine motor skills of children in group B at Al-Husna Kindergarten. This research aims to improve the fine motor skills of children in group B. The approach and method used in this research is the Quantitative research, the sample in this study was children aged 5 - 6 years, totaling 15 children consisting of 8 girls and 7 boys. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it shows that the average pre-test score is 41.67 and the average post-test result is 76. This can be interpreted as that the painting activity using the splash technique that has been carried out is effective in improving children's fine motor skills. in group B Al-Husna Kindergarten, South Aceh Regency. Based on the results of this research, it is recommended that schools can use this research as an alternative learning method in applying the abilities possessed by children. Teachers can make painting activities using splash techniques as a way of teaching so that students become more interested and can improve students' abilities. It is recommended to other researchers who are interested in this research to conduct research with different materials and classes, but do not forget to pay attention to materials that are suitable for painting activities using splash techniques
