Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out whether the application of the Google Jamboard learning media application can increase students' interest in learning at SMAN 1 Bakongan Timur. One of the goals of mathematics is the ability to explain the relationship between mathematical concepts. Therefore, interest in learning is important in the learning process. One alternative learning media to develop students' interest in learning is to choose the Google Jamboard application learning media. In the learning process, the PBL learning model is used and test questions are given to students where students will be required to be able to connect the material they have studied with the material they will study. This type of research is quantitative research. The population in this study was all class XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Bakongan Timur, consisting of 67 students. The instrument for this research is a test of student interest in learning in the form of a pretest-posttest in the form of essay questions. In this research, the data analysis technique uses the t test. The research results show that students' interest in learning who are taught using the PBL learning model is better than conventional learning.
