This research is based on the suboptimal fine motor skills of children in group A. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of drawing activities using the pointillist technique to improve the fine motor skills of children in group A at the Nurul Ilmi Alafan State Kindergarten. This research is a type of quantitative research with a one group pre-test post-test design. The sample for this research was childen from group A of the Nurul Ilmi Alafan State Kindergarten with a total of 14 children. Based on the result of research that has been carried out, drawing activities using the pointillist technique are effective in improving the fine motor skills of children in group A at the Nurul Ilmi Alafan State Kindergarten, showing that the average score from the pretest result is 6.85 and the average score from the posttest is 13.85. while the calculated t value for the ability to draw using the pointillist technique is 3.28 and the t table is at a significant level of a = 0.05 and dk = 13, we get ttable = 2.160 because tcount meets the criteria tcount > ttable = 3.28 > 2.160, so HO is accepted. This can be interpreted as that drawing activities using the pointillist technique to improve children’s fine motor skills are effectively applied to early childhood group A children at the Nurul Ilmi Alafan State Kindergarten.
