PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROJECT BASED LEARNING (PjBL) TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA PADA SISWA KELAS IV DI SDN KAJHU ACEH BESAR

Abstract

Education is a continuous and never-ending process, so that it can produce sustainable quality, which is aimed at realizing the human figure of the future. The Project Based Learning model is learning that uses a project in the learning process. Projects carried out by students can be individual or group projects and carried out within a certain period of time. The aim of this research is to determine the improvement in science learning outcomes for grade IV students at SDN Kajhu Aceh Besar using the project based learning (PjBL) learning model. This type of research is pre-experimental research, with a one-group pre-test-post-test design, namely one experimental group has its dependent variable measured (pre-test), then learning activities are given using the project based learning (PjBL) learning model. and the dependent variable was measured again (post-test), without any comparison group. The research results show that the student learning outcomes before using the project based learning (PjBL) learning model obtained an average score of 76,83. Meanwhile, by using the project based learning (PjBL) learning model for the post-test, an average score of 89,33 was obtained and the complete KKM score was a frequency of 30 students with a percentage of 100%. In the hypothesis test, there was an influence of the project based learning (PjBL) learning model on science learning outcomes in class IV students at SDN Kajhu Aceh Besar. This is confirmed by the results of the hypothesis test that tcount > ttable, namely 3,502 > 2.051. It can be concluded that PjBL is an effective learning model to be applied when science subjects take place, because PjBL can improve student learning outcomes.
