TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN SISWA TENTANG PERMAINAN BULUTANGKIS SISWA KELAS VIII SMP MUHAMMADIYAH 1 BANDA ACEH

Abstract

As an educator, a physical education teacher has the responsibility to optimize all aspects of the student's self in order to achieve learning goals. One of the subjects in physical education and health that students study is badminton. This research was conducted on class VIII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Banda Aceh. This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach, this research uses a non-probability sampling technique using saturated samples, the number of samples in this research is 31 respondents. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation, and distributing questionnaires. Based on the research results and discussion in this study, it can be concluded that the level of knowledge of class VIII students at SMP Muhamadiyah 1 Banda Aceh is in the good category because most students understand the game of badminton. the majority of students showed a high level of agreement with certain aspects of the game of badminton. As many as 65.4% understand the theory of the game of badminton, while 46.2% of students do not fully understand it. This shows variations in views among students regarding certain aspects in the context of the game of badminton.
