PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA POP-UB BOOK UNTUK PENGENALAN HURUF ABJAD PADA ANAK PAUD USIA 5-6 TAHUN DI TK BUNGGONG SEULEUPOK BANDA ACEH

And supervisor II Fitriah Hayati, M.Ed. This research is a type of development research which will later produce a product in the form of pop-ub book media learning in the introduction of alphabet letters to students. The aim of this media is to increase the results of children's interest in learning in recognizing the letters of the alphabet properly and correctly so that children can speak good communication skills. The aim of this research is because the students at Bunggong Seleupok Kindergarten prefer pictures that are attractive and look alive. because the images in the pop-ub book media also have 3-dimensional images that arise from the book. Based on the results of observations carried out at the Bunggong Seleupok Kindergarten school in Banda Aceh from 2 to 11 October, the students were still unable to recognize the letters of the alphabet and did not can distinguish between one letter of the alphabet and another letter of the alphabet, for example the sound of the letters v.p,f as well as the sounds of the letters j,z and so on. The development of pop-ub book learning media to introduce the alphabet to young children at the Bunggong Seleupok Kindergarten in Banda Aceh meets the valid criteria in terms of construct validity, content validity and language validity with a percentage of 90% and a test for practicality of 92.5%.
