ANALISIS KETERAMPILAN SMASH PADA ATLET PUTRI BINAAN BOLA VOLI UNIVERSITAS BINA BANGSA GETSEMPENA BANDA ACEH

Abstract

Smash is a technique that has a greater chance of getting points than other techniques. Apart from that, smashing is a technique that is preferred by athletes and spectators when watching volleyball matches. Smash is the act of hitting the ball downwards with full force, usually jumping upwards, into the opponent's half of the court. This research aims to analyze the smash technique skills of female volleyball athletes at Bina Bangsa University, Banda Aceh. This research uses quantitative descriptive. The population in this study were 20 female volleyball athletes at Bina Bangsa University, Banda Aceh. Sampling uses total sampling where the sample used is the entire population. Data analysis uses descriptive percentages. The research results show that the Smash skills of Female Volleyball Athletes at Bina Bangsa Getsempena University Banda Aceh based on the initial stage are in the "very good" category at 90% (18 athletes), in the "Good" category at 10% (2 Athletes). based on the jump stage, it was in the "very good" category at 90% (18 athletes), in the "Good" category at 10% (2 athletes). based on the hitting stage, it is in the "very good" category at 85% (17 athletes), in the "Good" category at 15% (3 athletes). based on the landing stage it was in the "very good" category at 85% (17 athletes), in the "Good" category at 15% (3 Athletes). The average of the criteria results obtained was "Very Good" at 100% (20 Athletes). Thus, based on these results, it can be said that the overall smash skill of Female Volleyball Athletes at Bina Bangsa Getsempena University, Banda Aceh is in the "Very Good" category.
