Abstract
Improving the Ability to Write Editorial Texts Using the Brain Writing Learning Model in Class XII MIPA 3 SMAN 1 Meureudu. Thesis, Indonesian Language Education Study Program, Bina Bangsa University, Gatsempena. This research aims to determine the increase in students' ability to write editorial texts before and after using the Brain Writing learning model in class XII MIPA 3 SMAN 1 Meureudu. This research uses a quantitative approach with Class Action (PTK). The population and sample in this study were 27 students taken using total sampling technique. Data collection techniques are carried out by giving tests and non-tests to students. Based on the results of observations writing editorial texts using the brain writing learning model, class XII MIPA 3 students obtained an average score of 96 with a very good category above KKM >75. The results of the questionnaire from 27 students, (100%) students liked the use of the brain writing model in learning to rewrite the contents of editorial texts and students thought that the use of the brain writing learning model in learning to write editorial texts could facilitate the students'
