ABSTRACT
This study aims to reveal the effectiveness of student worksheets based on Problem Based Learning on composition function material to improve student learning outcomes in class X IPA SMAN 15 Banda Aceh. The approach in this research is quantitative with this type of experimental research with a design, namely one group pre test - post test design. The research subjects consisted of 17 students of class X IPA SMAN 15 Banda Aceh, with the sampling technique using purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used was PBL-based worksheets and pretest-posttest instrument sheets. The results of the data analysis show that the average learning outcomes are classical completeness in the pretest 32 and posttest 79.47, meaning that the application of student worksheets based on problem-based learning is effectively used. This is also supported by the T-test, the sig. (2 – tailed) 0.000 <0.05 and t of 10.526 > 0.05, meaning that there is an increase in learning outcomes between the use before and after using LKPD based on Problem Based Learning. Based on statistical samples testing , it shows that there is an impact on improving learning outcomes, namely the mean error posttest 2,810 < mean error pretest 3,527. So, it can be concluded that the use of problem-based learning- based worksheets before and after using PBL-based worksheets is declared to be effectively applied in learning composition functions.
