Abstract

The process of learning mathematics at SMAN 1 Lhoknga class XI IPA teachers have never implemented TPACK-based Group Investigation into learning. Therefore, researchers implemented a TPACK-based Group Investigation at SMA Negeri 1 Lhoknga with the hope of increasing student learning outcomes. This study aims to improve learning outcomes in the subject of arithmetic sequences and series of class XI IPA students at SMA Negeri 1 Lhoknga. The approach used is a quantitative approach. Data was collected by giving pretest and posttest, observation, questionnaire, and documentation. The population in this study were all students in class XI SMA Negeri 1 Lhoknga and the samples were students in class XI IPA as many as 24 people from the control class and 23 people from the experimental class. The data analysis technique uses a descriptive statistics test to see the pretest and posttest scores in the control and experimental classes. In the questionnaire, validity and reliability tests were carried out to see the validity and reliability of the questionnaire statements. This can be seen in the posttest average score of the experimental class, which is 88.57, which is higher than the average value of the control class, which is 75.21. Only in the posttest maximum score of the experimental and control classes, the score is the same, namely 100. It can be concluded that the decision-making criteria, namely Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, which means that there is an increase in student learning outcomes using TPACK-based Group Investigation on material sequences and arithmetic series for class XI IPA SMA Country 1 Lhoknga. Then, analyzing the results of teacher and student observations in the control and experimental classes, it can be seen that the student observation data are in the very good category.
