ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN KETEPATAN TUSUKAN PADA ATLET ANGGAR ACEH BESAR

Abstract

Thrusting accuracy is a skill evaluated by fencers in order to accurately and consistently target their opponents. Fencers often face challenges during weekly competitions, as they frequently encounter difficulties in achieving thrusting accuracy. Inaccurate targeting during thrusting can significantly affect their point accumulation. The aim of this research is to determine the thrusting accuracy skills of fencers from Aceh Besar. This study employs a descriptive qualitative research design with a total of 15 participants, selected through a total sampling technique. Data collection involves a thrusting accuracy measurement test, and data analysis is conducted using mean values and percentages. The findings of this study indicate that:  The average thrusting accuracy skill of senior foil fencers is 32.45, categorized as excellent. This suggests that the senior fencers from Aceh Besar demonstrate a highly proficient thrusting accuracy skill. The average thrusting accuracy skill of junior foil fencers is 28.75, categorized as good. Therefore, it can be concluded that the junior fencers from Aceh Besar possess a satisfactory level of thrusting accuracy skill.
