Abstract

The success of the teaching and learning process is marked by satisfactory learning outcomes. The learning process that is less than optimal can result in low learning outcomes. In improving student learning outcomes, it is necessary to apply learning models that are in accordance with the material presented in the learning process so that the planned learning objectives will be achieved. An alternative learning model that is suitable for thematic learning is the Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) learning model. The Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) learning model emphasizes 3 aspects, namely learning by listening, critical thinking, and repetition. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of the Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) learning model on the thematic learning outcomes of grade VI students of SDN Lamrabo Aceh Besar. The research approach used is a quantitative approach to the type of experimental research. Data collection techniques used in this research are test and documentation techniques. Data collection tools are the initial test (pretest) and the final test (posttest). Data analysis techniques using pretest and posttest data normality tests using the chi square (X2). Next, testing the hypothesis using a t-test. The results showed that data analysis used the t-test hypothesis test, then obtained ttable 7.47 and ttable 1.782. This shows that the tcount > table is 7.47>1.782 thus it can be concluded that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted, so it can be obtained that the application of the Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) learning model has a significant effect on the thematic learning outcomes of Class VI students of SDN Lamrabo Aceh Besar.
