Abstract

The learning model is a plan or pattern that is used as a guide in planning classroom learning or tutorial learning. The purpose of the TGT learning model is to determine the effect of the TGT (Teams Games Tournament) type cooperative learning model based on local wisdom on science learning outcomes for class V SD 23 Banda Aceh. This research is an experimental research with the approach used in this research is descriptive quantitative. The research design used in this study was a pre-experimental design (weak experimental), while the form of the design was "one group pretest-posttest design", namely the study used only one experimental class without any comparison class or control class. The stages carried out by researchers are: 1). Initial stage (pre-test), 2). Treatment (treatment), 3). The final stage (post-test). This research activity was conducted at SD Negeri 23 Kota Banda Aceh class V with a total of 32 students. The results of this study can be seen based on testing the hypothesis with degrees of freedom (dk = n -1 = 32-1 = 31) and a significant value is α = 0.05 For this calculation ttable is 2.04 based on what has been determined by the rules for accepting the hypothesis, if tcount > ttable then Ha from the calculation above that tcount (22.99 > 2.04). The statement shows that Ha accepts.. Thus it can be concluded that there is an influence of the TGT (Teams Games Tournament) type of cooperative learning model on science learning outcomes for class V SD 23 Banda Aceh
