Abstract

Understanding the concept of the natural surroundings is a strong basis and foundation for children in improving natural intelligence at a more complex later stage. The research objective was to determine the increase in naturalist intelligence through traditional market games. The type of research used was Classroom Action Research (CAR), with research subjects of group A1 children with a total of 20 children. The data analysis technique used was percentages, namely processing data collected through observation. The aim of the research was to determine the increase in naturalist intelligence through group A1 traditional market games at TK IT Mutiara Ilmu. The results of this study indicate that an increase in children's naturalist intelligence can be seen from the following research results: Pre-action (BB) 10 children or 50%, (MB) 5 children or 25%, (BSH) 3 children or 15%, (BSB) 2 children or 10%. Cycle I (BB) 4 children or 20%, (MB) 4 children or 20%, (BSH) 5 children or 25%, (BSB) 7 children or 35%. Cycle II (BB) 0 children or 0, (MB) 1 child or 5%, (BSH) 1 child or 5%, (BSB) 18 children or 90%. The results showed that increasing children's naturalist intelligence through traditional market games could increase the naturalist intelligence of group A1 children at IT Mutiara Ilmu Kindergarten, Aceh Besar District.
