Abstract

Learning is essentially used to develop the potential of each individual. Learning activities involve two parties, namely students as recipients of education and education as providers of facilities. The purpose of this study was to produce learning media Snakes and Ladders Pop Up Box that is suitable for use in mathematics subjects, especially geometric materials for fifth grade elementary school students. The research conducted was a type of research and development or Research and Development (R&D), the model for developing learning media it uses ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development and Implementation, Evaluation). Based on the assessment of media experts as a whole, it obtained a percentage of 86% and was declared very feasible. Based on the teacher's response, a score of 87% was obtained and the results of student responses obtained a score of 86%. It can be categorized that the Pop Up Box Snakes and Ladders learning media is a very practical learning medium for students. For student learning outcomes to obtain a score of 90% this can be categorized that the Pop Up Box Snakes and Ladders learning media is very effective for students. Based on the results of the development carried out, it can be said that the Snakes and Ladders Pop Up Box learning media is "very feasible, very practical, and very effective" for use in elementary schools.
