Abstract

Analyzing negotiating text is one of the interaction skills that develops students' ability to interact. Therefore, negotiating texts are taught to students using the PBL model in Indonesian language learning class X. This negotiating text is contained in basic competency 3.11 analyzing the content, structure, and language of negotiating texts. The problem in this study is how is the implementation of increasing the ability to analyze negotiating texts using the PBL problem-based learning model for Class X SMAS T Bustanul Arifin Gayo Lues?. The purpose of this study is to describe the Implementation of Increasing the Ability to Analyze Negotiating Texts Using the PBL Problem Based Learning Model in Class X SMAS T Bustanul Arifin Gayo Lues. based on the results of research in cycle I and cycle II an increase of 19.85 from cycle I to cycle II. The results of the actions taken up to cycle II have fulfilled the indicators of product success, namely 75% of students get a score of more than or equal to 75 out of a maximum score of 100 after being given an action. Overall in cycle II all aspects and criteria for analyzing negotiating text experienced a significant increase. From the results of the above research it is evident that the use of problem based learning learning models is considered successful and can improve the ability to analyze negotiating texts of class X SMAS T Bustanul Arifin Gayo Lues.
