ANALYSIS OF PARENTING PARENTS ON GADGET PLAYING HABITS IN CHILDREN AGED 5-6 YEARS IN ALUE NAGA VILLAGE, BANDA ACEH

Abstract

Parenting is an overall interaction between parents and children, in which parents provide encouragement to children by changing behavior, knowledge, and values ​​that are considered most appropriate for parents so that children can be independent, grow and develop in a healthy and optimal manner, have Confidence has the nature of curiosity, friendship and interaction. The formulation of the problem in this study is how are the parenting styles of children with the habit of playing gadgets at the age of 5-6 years in Alue Naga village, Banda Aceh. The aim is to find out the parenting style of the habit of playing gadgets in children aged 5-6 years in Alue Naga village, Banda Aceh. The instrument used was interviews with 5 parents, documentation and research data were analyzed through the results of parent interviews. From the results of interview research conducted on 5 parents, the type of parenting style towards the habit of playing gadgets in early childhood that is applied by parents to children is that there are 3 parents who apply democratic parenting, 1 parent who applies permissive parenting and 1 parent. parents who apply authoritarian parenting style.
