This research is entitled Analysis of Shifts in Kluet Language Rules in the Central Kluet Region of South Aceh District (Special Study of Mersak Village). The aim of this research is to describe the Kluet language rules in Mersak Village, Central Kluet, South Aceh District. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. The subjects in this study were the people of Mersak Village, Central Kluet District, South Aceh Regency, totaling 15 people. Data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interview, recording techniques, and documentation. The data analysis technique in this study is qualitative data analysis in which the researcher describes the phenomena obtained and then analyzes them with word classifications to draw conclusions. The results of the study showed that there were approximately 14 shifting word forms in the Kluet language in Mersak Village, Central Kluet District, South Aceh Regency, which were caused by several factors, namely: Due to cross-marriage, education, and assimilation of foreign languages.
