UPAYA GURU DALAM PENANAMAN NILAI-NILAI KARAKTER ISLAM PADA ANAK USIA 5-6 TAHUN DI AL-WASHLIYAH BANDA ACEH

Abstract

This research was conducted at Al-Washliyah Kindergarten Banda Aceh in the Academic Year 2022/2023. The purpose of this study was to find out about the efforts of teachers in instilling Islamic character values ​​in children aged 5-6 years in Al-Washliyah Kindergarten Banda Aceh and to find out the values ​​of What Islamic character values ​​are used by teachers for children aged 5-6 years at Al-Washliyah Kindergarten Banda Aceh. In this study, qualitative descriptive analysis techniques were used to analyze the results of the interviews. From the results of these interviews, it can be concluded that, the efforts made in instilling the values ​​of Islamic character in Al-Washliyah Kindergarten, Alue Naga Banda Aceh are: with strategies that have been prepared by teachers in Al-Washliyah Kindergarten, namely by using media, so that children more easily understand the learning material delivered by the teacher. With the existence of learning media related to the cultivation of children's Islamic character, it is easier for children to see, practice and practice it in daily activities. This media can include media stories about previous stories related to polite, honest, and responsible attitudes. So that children who listen to it are given an understanding of these values ​​so that children can model them in life. In addition, the Islamic character values ​​used in Al-Washliyah Kindergarten apply religious values ​​such as reading prayers before and after studying, eating, and providing ethical or moral values ​​as well as discipline and responsibility.
