Abstract

Communication is the procedure for information provided by the service provider and complaints from patients. How complaints from patients are quickly accepted by service providers, especially nurses in providing assistance to patient complaints. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between nurses' intrapersonal communication with outpatient satisfaction at the Kopelma Darussalam Public Health Center. The method in this study is analytic with a cross sectional approach. What has been done at the Kopelma Darussalam Health Center from date . The population in this study were all patients who visited the Kopelma Darussalam Health Center with a total sample of 43 respondents. Data analysis was carried out univariate and bivariate with Chi-Square test. The results of this study indicate the relationship between nurse interpersonal communication and patient satisfaction at the Kopelma Darussalam Public Health Center, Banda Aceh City with a p-value of 0.038 <0.05. Suggestions for nurse researchers at the Kopelma Darussalam Health Center to continue to improve communication to patients so that patients are satisfied with the services available at Kopelma Darussalam Health Center.
