UPAYA PENINGKATAN PENGETAHUAN KEBERSIHAN ORGAN KEWANITAAN SAAT MENSTRUASI MELALUI METODE DEMONSTRASI PADA SISWI SMA N 1 DARUL IMARAH ACEH BESAR

Abstract

Knowledge is the result of the human senses or the result of knowing someone what an object from the senses has (eyes, nose, ears and others). The demonstration method is an instructor's way of showing a process. The purpose of this study was to provide an effort to increase knowledge of the hygiene of the female organs during menstruation through the demonstration method for SMA N 1 Darul Imarah Aceh Besar students. Using a demonstration method with a quasi-experimental research design. The number of samples in this study was 108. While the statistical test used a paired t test, based on T count > -8.087 compared to the T table value of 1.999 and the P value < 0.05 there was an increase in knowledge. The results of the study before being given material about increasing knowledge of feminine organ hygiene during menstruation in SMA N1 Darul Imarah Class XII students most of the students had good knowledge 57 (52.3%) after being given the material there was a significant increase in knowledge in class XII students with a total of 99 ( 91.7%) in the good category. It is hoped that it can be input for class XII students in increasing knowledge about the cleanliness of the female organs during menstruation.
