Abstract

Abstract

The care of post-sectio caesarea mothers is made easier by allowing early mobilization. Mothers who have just given birth are often anxious, this anxiety makes the mother's emotional condition unstable so that it affects the willingness to do early mobilization. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of early mobilization on the mother's emotional condition after performing sc surgery at Cut Meutia General Hospital, Lhokseumawe. The method in this study is analytic with a cross sectional approach. This research was conducted at Cut Meutia General Hospital Lhokseumawe from 02 August to 11 August 2022. The population in this study were mothers who had postoperative Sectio Ceasare with a total sample of 38 respondents. Data analysis was carried out univariate and bivariate with Chi-Square test. The results of this study showed a p-value of 0.027 <0.05 so that the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected, which means that there is an influence of early mobilization with the emotional condition of the mother after sectio caesarean operation at Cut Meutia Hospital, Lhokseumawe. Suggestions for nurse researchers to continue to carry out early mobilization of postoperative sectio mothers as one of the non-pharmacological treatments
