PENGARUH REMASAN DAUN BUNGA MEULU BRUEK TERHADAP PENURUNAN SUHU TUBUH PADA REMAJA DENGAN DEMAM DI DAYAH MADRASATUL QURAN ACEH BESAR

Abstract

Background : Meulu bruek flower leaves are one of the ingredients to overcome fever naturall the content of a type of ketone in meulu bruek flower leaves is able to reduce body temperature by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins which play a role in the process of pain in the central nervous system so that it can reduce fever. Objective : to indetify the determinant factor for the squeeze of the meulu bruek flowers leaf on the decrease in body temperature in adolescents in madrasatul quran Aceh Besar. Research Methods : using a quasi-experimental approach, namely epidemiological research design pre-test and post-test research designs (measurements are carried out before and after) Sample : totaling 30 respondents using random sampling technique. The results : based on the statistical test of independent sample t test through the Sampiro Wilk normality test with a t-count value of -1.315 t-table 1.70113 and has a significant number of -0.199 0.05. based on the decision-making criteria, it can be concluded that H0 is accepted (H1 is rejected) which means meulu bruek flower leaves = plain water which means that this shows that there is no significant negative comparison between the effect of squeezed meulu bruek petals and plain water on the decrease body temperature in madrasatul quran Conclusion : there isn't any an effect of squeezing  meulu bruek flower leaves on a decrease in body temperature in adolescents. Suggestion : this research is expected to be useful for the community and students and students to increase knowledge
