Abstract

Background : . The teacher is the determinant of success or failure. In the learning process, the teacher must do a good job in learning and teaching. The interrelated roles of teachers and students play a role in the learning process. The teacher's work has a big impact The quality of education is influenced by the level of education How teachers communicate and teach knowledge to realize their ideals, both for themselves, their families, communities and the country, At the beginning of 2020, the world was shocked by the outbreak of a new virus, the novel coronavirus ( SARS-CoV-2), known as coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). As we all know, the origin of this virus came from Wuhan, China. It was discovered at the end of December 2019. To date, 53 countries have been confirmed to be infected with the virus. Objective: To determine the relationship between the teacher's role in the implementation of infection prevention and control (Covid-19) at SMA N 1 Darul Imarah Aceh Besar. Research method: This research design is a quantitative scientific research study, which is systematic towards the parts and phenomena and their relationships. Sample: totaling 57 respondents using the Total Sampling technique. Research results: Based on research on the role of teachers from 57 respondents (100%), it shows that teachers who play a role are 48 respondents (84.2%), while teachers who do not play a role are 23 respondents (15.8%) Based on the PPI COVID-19 research from 57 respondents (100%), showing teachers who play a role as many as 44 respondents (77.2%), while teachers who do not play a role as many as 13 respondents (22.8%). Conclusion: Based on the results of the study, it showed 57 respondents (100%) The high value of the role of PPI covid-19 (77.2%), no role of PPI covid-19 13 respondents (22.8%), obtained a P-Value value of 0.00 which shows that = < 0.05 % so it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, this indicates that the teacher's role in implementing the prevention and control of covid-19 infection at SMA N 1 Darul Imarah Aceh Besar can be concluded so that it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. , it can be concluded that there is a relationship between the two variables. Suggestion: It is recommended to provide input or additional insight for schools as input and consideration in addressing the problem of preventing and controlling Covid-19 infection.
