PERCEPTION OF NERS PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION STUDENTS ON CLINICAL INSTRUCTOR (CI) WITH ACHIEVE COMPETENCY IN CLINICAL PRACTICES

Background Nursing profession students carry out two stages of nursing education, namely academic education and professional education. Professional education can be passed through a clinical learning process to apply theory to a real clinical situation. Clinical learning can be said to be successful if students can achieve their clinical competence. in achieving the competence of student clinical practice can be influenced by several factors. Based on the results of the initial survey on March 15, 2022 conducted at the RSUD dr.Zainoel Abidin, Aceh province, data was obtained for a total of 739 nursing professional education students who underwent clinical practice from 2021-2022, there was an average data of nurse students who practiced monthly at the dr. Zainoel Abidin Aceh Province as many as 130 students. Objective To determine the perception of nursing professional education students on the competence, professionalism, communication of Clinical Instructors with the achievement of clinical practice competence. Research method The type of research used in this study is quantitative, using a correlational approach with a sample of 98 people. The data collection method used was by distributing questionnaires. The results of this study are there is a relationship between clinical instructor competency (CI) and clinical practice competency achievement with a P value of 0, 000 = Ha accepted. There is a professional relationship between clinical instructors (CI) and the achievement of clinical practice competence with a P value of 0.000 = Ha accepted. There is a relationship between clinical instructor communication (CI) and the achievement of clinical practice competence with a P value of 0.000 = Ha accepted. Conclusions and Suggestions can be used as input or additional insight, information and references which can later be practiced by students regarding the perceptions of nursing professional education students towards Clinical Instructors with the achievement of clinical practice competencies.
