THE USE OF ENGLISH SONG MEDIA TO ENHANCE STUDENTS’ PRONUNCIATION SKILL

Abstrak

The purpose of this research is to find out whether English song media is effective on students in English pronunciation skill. The research was conducted by using quantitative research and the data was done using test and at the first grade of SMA Negeri 1 Baitussalam, Aceh Besar as the sample of this research and the sample consist is 22 students. The result of this research from the data was test analyzed and calculated by statically formula. It showed that the mean score of pretest was 7,11 while the mean score of posttest was 10,13. Furthermore, the result of was showed that t-hitung = 8.33 and t table = 9,478. It means that t-table is higher than t-test score so alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected. It can be concluded that the Use English song media to Enhance Students’ Pronunciation Skill is effective and improve.
